Did you know?

The world’s largest Christmas present was the Statue of Liberty. The French gave it to the US in 1886. It is 150 feet high and weights 225 tons!

It can take up to 15 years to grow an average-sized tree of 6-7 feet or as little as 4 years, but the average growing time is 7!

Bing Crosby’s ‘White Christmas’ was released in 1942 and is considered to be the best-selling Christmas song of all time!

Safe Driving Tips for a Happy Holiday!

Keep all car doors locked and windows closed while in or out of your car. Set your alarm or use an anti-theft device.

Never leave your car unoccupied with the motor running or with children inside.

Do not leave packages or valuables on the seat of your car. This creates a temptation for thieves.

Be sure to locate your keys prior to going to your car.

When approaching and leaving your vehicle be aware of your surroundings.

Ask mall, store security for an escort before leaving your shopping location.

Never drink and drive. Never drive distracted.

Happy New Year!

Another fresh new year is here . . .
Another year to live!
To banish worry, doubt, and fear,
To love and laugh and give!

This bright new year is given me
To live each day with zest . . .
To daily grow and try to be
My highest and my best!

I have the opportunity
Once more to right some wrongs,
To pray for peace, to plant a tree,
And sing more joyful songs!
